An Open Invitation ... Part V: Playing the Mind’s Shell Game
NOTE: Before I begin…just to clear up any confusion…this blog is NOT espousing any particular religion, creed, or dogma. This blog is NOT telling anyone what or how to think. This blog simply asks QUESTIONS and presents a VARIETY of ideas and perspectives. This blog RECOMMENDS keeping an OPEN mind in regards to life. THANKS.

I’m having a MAJOR issue with this ONENESS theory.
If there is only ONE reality…
…why do I experience both subject and object?
Are separate objects even real?
Or are they just thoughts?
Are all objects created…
…at the moment subject is recognized?
Or are subject and object co-created?
Every minor subject becomes the object of the next larger subject.
Ultimate subject sees ALL objects.
Ultimate subject is “I am the witness”.
"I am the witness" begs the question…
… the witness of what?
Subject will ALWAYS manifest an object.
But don’t objects contradict ONENESS?
Can objects ever be dissolved?
Not unless subject is dissolved.
Then, can subject be dissolved?
--- --- --- --- ---
ONE = ALL = INFINITE
You can't ADD to the ALL.
It’s already ALL.
You can’t SUBTRACT from the ALL.
Where would it go?
Mind tries to grasp the ALL.
But mind is too small.
So mind cuts up the ALL,
and tries to digest it.
One side is subject…
…one side is object…
…until it gets bored.
So subject becomes object…
…object becomes subject…
…and the shell game continues.
The pieces we believe we see…
…are just mind's imaginary divisions.
The mind's pieces don't really "go" anywhere.
But they can “fall away”.
No part is ever LOST.
No uniqueness is ever LOST.
Only the illusion is dropped away.
They aren't really there.
Only the mind struggles to get away from a part.
But a part cannot escape the ALL.
And the part was never more than a dream.
The mind may still play…
…knowing the divisions aren't real.

"An Open Invitation" is a multi-part journey from the known into the unknown.
So, this is who you think you are?
Bam!!!
Oh look, who you thought you were is now shattered into a million tiny pieces.
Now what?
